Sites
Manage operational site locations with geo-coordinates and officer assignments.
The Sites module is used to manage all operational site locations within the organization. It provides a centralized view of all site records, enabling administrators to create, update, and remove site locations with their geographic coordinates, operational range, and officer assignments.
From the main dashboard, navigate to Master in the top navigation menu to access the sites management interface.
Upon clicking Master, a dropdown menu appears with various master options. Select Sites to open the sites management page.
11.6 Sites List
The Sites List displays all recorded site locations and includes search and filter options to help users quickly locate specific site records.
The list displays the following columns:
- Site Code – Unique code assigned to the site (e.g., Z, S).
- Site Name – Name of the site (e.g., Zero Spot, Sunningdale, Sunlight, Sin Hiap Hoe).
- Longitude – Geographic longitude coordinate of the site.
- Latitude – Geographic latitude coordinate of the site.
- Range – Defined operational or geofencing range.
- Deployed Officers – Number of officers assigned to the site.
- Status – Active or inactive status of the site.
The page also includes a dropdown to select the number of records to display per page (default: 10), a Search field to filter sites, and an Export button to export the list data. Pagination controls at the bottom allow navigation between pages.
11.7 Add Sites
To create a new site, click the Add Sites tab.
The Add Sites form appears with two sections. First, fill in the Sites Details section:
- Site Code * (required) – Enter the unique code for the site.
- Site Name * (required) – Enter the name of the site.
- Latitude * (required) – Enter the geographic latitude coordinate.
- Longitude * (required) – Enter the geographic longitude coordinate.
- Location Range * (required) – Enter the operational or geofencing range.
Next, fill in the Shift Details section to assign shift schedules to the site:
- Shift Type – Select the shift type (e.g., Day, Night).
- Start Time – Enter the shift start time.
- End Time – Enter the shift end time.
- No of Employees – Enter the number of employees required for the shift.
Click the green + button to add additional shifts, or the red − button to remove a shift row.
Click Submit to save the new site. To cancel and return to the list, click Back.
A success message appears at the top of the page confirming that the site has been created, and the new record is added to the Sites List.
11.8 View Site Details
To view detailed information about a site, click the expand icon (plus sign) next to the site code in the list.
A More Details dialog opens, displaying comprehensive information about the selected site including Site Code, Site Name, Longitude, Latitude, Range, Deployed Officers, Status, and assigned Shifts with their timings and employee counts. The dialog also provides quick access to Edit, Delete, and QR Code generation actions.
11.9 Edit Sites
To modify an existing site, click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Action column of the desired record, or from the More Details dialog.
The Edit Sites tab opens with the existing details pre-filled in the form. Update the Sites Details and Shift Details sections as needed and click Submit to save the changes. Click Back to cancel and return to the list.
A success message appears confirming that the site has been updated.
11.10 Delete Sites
To remove a site, click the Delete icon (trash) in the Action column of the record you want to remove, or from the More Details dialog.
A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion, displaying the name of the site to be deleted.
Click Delete to confirm the deletion, or Close to cancel and return to the list.
A success message appears confirming that the site has been deleted, and the record is removed from the list.
11.11 Generate Site QR Code
To generate a QR code for a site, open the More Details dialog and click the QR Code icon in the Action section.
The system generates and displays a QR code for the selected site, which can be downloaded or printed for physical deployment at the site location.
