Nationality
Manage nationality records for employees and visitors.
The Nationality module is used to manage nationality records for employees and visitors within the organization. It provides a centralized view of all nationality records, enabling administrators to create, update, and remove nationality classifications such as Singapore PR, Malaysian, Singaporean, and Indian.
From the main dashboard, navigate to Master in the top navigation menu to access the nationality management interface.
Upon clicking Master, a dropdown menu appears with various master options. Select Nationality to open the nationality management page.
11.4 Nationality List
The Nationality List displays all recorded nationality classifications and includes search and filter options to help users quickly locate specific nationality records.
The list displays the following columns:
- Nationality – Name of the nationality (e.g., Singapore PR, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indian).
- Description – Additional details or remarks about the nationality (e.g., Singapore Permanent Resident, Malaysia Citizen, Singapore Citizen, Indian Citizen).
- Status – Active or inactive status of the nationality.
- Action – Edit and Delete options for each record.
The page also includes a dropdown to select the number of records to display per page (default: 10), a Search field to filter nationalities, and an Export button to export the list data.
11.5 Add Nationality
To create a new nationality, click the Add Nationality tab.
The Add Nationality form appears with the Nationality Details section. Fill in the required fields:
- Nationality * (required) – Enter the name of the nationality.
- Description (optional) – Enter additional details or remarks about the nationality.
Click Submit to save the new nationality. To cancel and return to the list, click Back.
A success message appears at the top of the page confirming that the nationality has been created, and the new record is added to the Nationality List.
11.6 Edit Nationality
To modify an existing nationality, click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Action column of the desired record.
The Edit Nationality tab opens with the existing details pre-filled in the form. Update the required fields and click Submit to save the changes. Click Back to cancel and return to the list.
A success message appears confirming that the nationality has been updated.
11.7 Delete Nationality
To remove a nationality, click the Delete icon (trash) in the Action column of the record you want to remove.
A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion, displaying the name of the nationality to be deleted.
Click Delete to confirm the deletion, or Close to cancel and return to the list.
A success message appears confirming that the nationality has been deleted, and the record is removed from the list.
