Location

Manage site-specific checkpoints and geo-locations.

11.8 Location

The Location section manages site-specific locations and checkpoints used throughout the system.

Navigate to Master › Location from the main menu to access the location management page.

Click on Location to open the location management page.

Location List

The Location List displays all recorded locations. The table includes the following columns:

  • Location Name – Name of the location.
  • Geo Location – Geographical coordinates of the location.
  • Remarks – Additional notes or comments.
  • Status – Active or inactive status.
  • Action – Options to edit or delete the location.

The page also includes:

  • Location List tab – View existing locations.
  • Add Location tab – Create a new location.
  • Entries dropdown – Control the number of records displayed per page.
  • Search field – Find specific locations by keyword.
  • Export button – Export location data.
  • Previous / Next pagination controls.

Click the Add Location tab to create a new location.

Add Location

The Add Location form contains the following fields under 1. Location Details:

  • Name * – Enter the location name (required).
  • Latitude * – Enter the latitude coordinate (required).
  • Longitude * – Enter the longitude coordinate (required).
  • Site Code – Select a site code from the dropdown.
  • Remarks – Add any additional notes or comments.

A map preview area is displayed on the right side of the form for visual reference.

To create a new location:

  • Click the Add Location tab.
  • Enter the required location details (Name, Latitude, Longitude).
  • Select a Site Code if applicable.
  • Add any Remarks as needed.
  • Click Submit to save the location.
  • Click Back to return to the Location List without saving.

The location is added to the Location List and can be managed from the list view.
