Leave Management

View, track, and manage employee leave requests, approvals, and leave balances from a centralized interface.

The Leave Management module provides a complete overview of all employee leave activity. From the main dashboard, navigate to Leave in the top navigation menu to access the leave management interface.

Accessing Leave Records

Clicking on Leave opens the leave management interface. The default view presents a List Leave Record option, which serves as the entry point to search and manage all employee leave requests.

Search and Filter Options

The Leave Management module includes advanced filtering options to help users quickly locate specific leave records. Available filters include:

  • From Date — Filter leave records starting from a specific date (required field).
  • To Date — Filter leave records up to a specific date (required field).
  • Employee Name — Search leave records for a particular employee using the dropdown selector.
  • Leave Types — Filter records based on the selected leave category (e.g., Annual Leave, Medical Leave, Emergency Leave).
  • Status — Filter leave requests by their current status (Pending, Approved, Rejected).

After selecting the required filter criteria, click Submit to display the corresponding leave records. Click Reset to clear all filter selections and return to the default view.

Leave Records List

Once filters are applied, the system displays a detailed table of leave records. Each row represents an individual leave request with the following information:

  • Employee Name — Name of the employee who submitted the leave request.
  • NRIC/FIN — Masked employee identification number for security purposes (e.g., G****435M).
  • Date — The leave period, displayed as start date to end date (e.g., 12-11-2025 to 12-11-2025).
  • Leave Type — Type of leave applied for (e.g., Annual Leave, Medical Leave, Emergency Leave).
  • No. of Days — Total number of leave days requested (e.g., 1.0, 2.0).
  • Submitted On — Date when the leave request was originally submitted.
  • Reason — Reason provided by the employee for the leave request.
  • Status — Current status of the leave request, displayed as a color-coded badge (e.g., Approved, Pending, Rejected).
  • Attachment — Supporting documents uploaded with the leave request, if applicable.
  • Action — Management options available for each record.

Record Actions

Each leave record in the list includes action buttons for management:

  • Edit — Modify the leave request details, including dates, leave type, reason, or status.
  • Delete — Remove the leave request from the system permanently.

Additional List Features

The leave records table includes the following utility features:

  • Entries per page — Use the dropdown at the top-left to select how many records to display per page (default: 10).
  • Search — Use the search box at the top-right to quickly find records by keyword.
  • Export — Download the filtered leave records in your preferred format using the export dropdown.
  • Pagination — Navigate between pages using the Previous and Next controls at the bottom-right, with the current page number highlighted.

Filter Example

When applying specific filters, the system narrows the results to show only matching records. For example, filtering by:

  • From Date: 12-11-2025
  • To Date: 12-11-2025
  • Employee Name: Infant
  • Leave Types: Annual Leave
  • Status: Approved

...will display only the approved annual leave requests for that employee on the specified date.

Applied Filters Example
Note: Use the date range filters to generate monthly or quarterly leave reports for payroll processing or workforce planning. The Export option allows you to download filtered results for offline analysis.
