Employment Type

Manage employee classification: Permanent, Contract, Temporary.

The Employment Type module is used to manage employee classification categories within the organization. It provides a centralized view of all employment type records, enabling administrators to create, update, and remove employment classifications such as Part-Time, Full-Time, and Intern.

From the main dashboard, navigate to Master in the top navigation menu to access the employment type management interface.

Upon clicking Master, a dropdown menu appears with various master options. Select Employment Type to open the employment type management page.

11.3 Employment Type List

The Employment Type List displays all recorded employment classifications and includes search and filter options to help users quickly locate specific employment type records.

The list displays the following columns:

  • Employment Type – Type of employment classification (e.g., Part-Time, Full-Time, Intern).
  • Description – Additional details or remarks about the employment type.
  • Status – Active or inactive status of the employment type.
  • Action – Edit and Delete options for each record.

The page also includes a dropdown to select the number of records to display per page (default: 10), a Search field to filter employment types, and an Export button to export the list data. Pagination controls at the bottom allow navigation between pages.

11.4 Add Employment Type

To create a new employment type, click the Add Employment Type tab.

The Add Employment Type form appears with the Employment Details section. Fill in the required fields:

  • Employment Type Name * (required) – Enter the name of the employment classification.
  • Description (optional) – Enter additional details or remarks about the employment type.

Click Submit to save the new employment type. To cancel and return to the list, click Back.

A success message appears at the top of the page confirming that the employment type has been created, and the new record is added to the Employment Type List.

11.5 Edit Employment Type

To modify an existing employment type, click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Action column of the desired record.

The Edit Employment Type tab opens with the existing details pre-filled in the form. Update the required fields and click Submit to save the changes. Click Back to cancel and return to the list.

A success message appears confirming that the employment type has been updated.

11.6 Delete Employment Type

To remove an employment type, click the Delete icon (trash) in the Action column of the record you want to remove.

A confirmation dialog appears asking you to confirm the deletion, displaying the name of the employment type to be deleted.

Click Delete to confirm the deletion, or Close to cancel and return to the list.
