Occurrence Subject
Predefined categories used when recording occurrence diary entries.
The Occurrence Subject module enables users to create and manage predefined categories or subjects that are used when recording occurrence diary entries. From the main dashboard, navigate to Occurrence in the top navigation menu, then select Occurrence Subject from the dropdown to access this interface.
Upon clicking Occurrence Subject, the system presents two main options:
- Occurrence Subject List — View and manage all predefined occurrence subjects.
- Create Occurrence Subject — Add a new occurrence subject category.
9.1 Occurrence Subject List
The Occurrence Subject section is used to create and maintain predefined occurrence categories or subjects that can be used when recording occurrence entries. Click on Occurrence Subject List to view all existing subjects.
Occurrence Subject List
The list displays the following information for each subject:
- Subject — Name of the occurrence subject or category (e.g., test01, test02, test03).
- Notes — Additional information or remarks related to the subject (e.g., testing, teingi, ugfffausbs).
- Status — Current status of the subject, displayed as a color-coded badge (e.g., Active or Inactive).
- Action — Management options for each record.
Record Actions
Each occurrence subject in the list includes two action buttons:
- Edit — Modify occurrence subject details (pencil icon).
- Delete — Remove an occurrence subject from the system (trash icon).
Additional List Features
The occurrence subject list includes the following utility features:
- Entries per page — Use the dropdown at the top-left to select how many records to display per page (default: 10).
- Search — Use the search box at the top-right to quickly find subjects by keyword.
- Export — Download the subject list in your preferred format using the export dropdown.
- Pagination — Navigate between pages using the Previous and Next controls at the bottom-right, with the current page number highlighted.
9.2 Create Occurrence Subject
The Create Occurrence Subject feature allows users to add new predefined categories for occurrence diary entries. Click on Create Occurrence Subject to open the creation form.
Occurrence Subject Details
When creating a new occurrence subject, users are required to provide the following information:
- Subject — Name of the occurrence subject or category (required field).
- Notes — Additional information or remarks related to the subject (required field).
Submitting a New Occurrence Subject
- Click Create Occurrence Subject.
- Enter the required subject name in the Subject field.
- Add any relevant notes or remarks in the Notes field.
- Click Submit to save the occurrence subject. Click Back to return to the list without saving.
Once submitted successfully, a success notification "Success! Occurrence Subject Created" appears, and the new subject is added to the Occurrence Subject List with an Active status.
9.3 Edit Occurrence Subject
To modify an existing occurrence subject, click the Edit icon (pencil) in the Action column of the subject list. The Edit Occurrence Subject form opens, pre-populated with the existing subject data.
Make the necessary changes to the subject details, then click Submit to save the updates. Click Back to cancel and return to the list.
Upon successful update, a success notification "Success! Occurrence Subject Updated" appears, confirming the changes have been saved.
9.4 Delete Occurrence Subject
To remove an occurrence subject from the system, click the Delete icon (trash) in the Action column of the subject list.
A confirmation dialog appears displaying the subject name and prompting for confirmation. Click Delete to confirm removal. Click Close to cancel the operation.
Upon successful deletion, a success notification "Success! Delete Occurrence Subject Deleted" appears, and the subject is removed from the list.
